My name is Amee France and I am the Director of Campus Ministry at St. Monica Catholic High school. I am originally from Boise, Idaho, moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the University of Utah (Go Utes!) and received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. I am so very grateful for the many friars, staff members and parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Newman Center who helped form me in my young adult faith life. My own formation grew into a vocation of teaching and campus ministry and I could not be more grateful for the years I have been a part of Catholic Education. Seeing my students strive to be the best versions of themselves in the classroom, on the field, or on a retreat has been a blessing to be a part of.
My greatest personal and spiritual accomplishment was walking the El Camino de Santiago. I travel 500 miles across Spain starting in St. Jean Pied de Port and ending in Santiago de Compostella. It was a beautiful journey filled with wonderful people from around the world and I enjoyed the sacred silence while walking through the vineyards, wheat fields, and forest. Buen Camino!
