Cross Country Home
Our team begins conditioning for the season during summer camp to prepare for multiple invitationals and league meets in the Fall. The Cross Country team has had individual runners reach the CIF Prelims in each of the past 2 years. A number of runners also participate in Track & Field in the Spring for additional development during the school year. Mariners Cross Country focuses on weekly improvements and developing a passion for running while building a family of strong friendships that support and encourage one another.
Furthermore, throughout the season we stress the importance of overall health and nutrition for optimum preparation before competitions. Emphasizing this first step for a runner is important to build good habits and perform to the best of their abilities.
