The St. Monica Catholic High School Alumni Association dates back to 1945. The first Alumni Association reunion was held in May of 1945. The Class of 1945 was presented and the president formally initiated the newly graduated into the association. While the recent graduates who formed the Alumni Association were anything but ancient, they decided that the name “Ancient Mariners” was too hard to resist; and so began one of the first alumni traditions! From that day forward, alumni have been affectionately referred to as “Ancient Mariners”. All graduates of St. Monica Catholic High School are members of the Alumni Association.
