I was born and raised in Minnesota, and I started my career in theatre at the age of 10. I received my B.A. in theatre from Southwest Minnesota State University and then made the move to Las Vegas, Nevada to continue my studies. In Vegas, I received my M.F.A in performance and immediately after graduating started working professionally. I've traveled the country doing tons of plays and musicals, regional tours, off broadway, new productions and revivals. I then moved to Los Angeles where I was now being seen on stage and screen.
I have always wanted to be in education, it was my goal to gain the knowledge and experience of the industry I love and come back and share it with today’s youth. Before coming to St. Monica, I was a teacher at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), which is ranked the #1 public performing arts high school in the country.
There is nothing more I love than performance. We are the story tellers of the world, and we can use our voices to make it a better place.
