St. Monica High School, a parish, coeducational, college preparatory high school in Santa Monica, California, is seeking a full-time mathematics teacher for the 2021 - 2022 school year. The ideal candidate will be able to teach all levels of math including the upper-level math course AP Calculus. Responsibilities include teaching multiple math sections, serving as a grade-level advisor, and participating in co-curricular activities. Opportunities to integrate interdisciplinary projects and research are woven throughout the curriculum.

Show a willingness to engage students in meaningful learning experiences to foster an appreciation for math and its application in everyday life.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an integrated and meaningful curriculum and student learning experiences.

Serve as a grade-level advisor who is committed to the social and emotional development of students.

A bachelor’s degree in mathematics is necessary; a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have at least three years of experience teaching in a student-centered classroom, integrating technology in the student learning experience that enhances student experiences and growth. Prior experience developing and facilitating online learning lessons is a plus.
