This full day of information and practice relating to the college admissions process included: common application, Naviance, creating a resume, and letters of recommendation. Guidance counselors and teachers spoke to the students on the topics of UC eligibility, best fit of colleges based on grades, location, and interest, and the importance of beginning their personal statement. The counselors will meet with students throughout the semester to continue this process. Additionally, the students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of many colleges during the college visit days.
