Mariners inspired to build bridges of hope this Lent

Last Wednesday, we entered into the Lenten season with a beautiful liturgy planned by our Campus Ministry student leaders. Students distributed ashes to peers, teachers, families- even members of the larger St. Monica community. In keeping with the community theme, Monsignor Torgerson called us to consider how we can build bridges of hope and mend broken relationships during Lent.

As we journey in hope this season, students will have several opportunities for spiritual growth, including the Lenten reconciliation service on April 7th, and the Lenten Art Project with our elementary and middle school students. Lent provides a valuable opportunity to grow spiritually as a family. Check out the following links, and consider sharing these ideas around the dinner table:
